In order to ensure that your order on the BUYMA is enjoyable and safe, we have many of tips and precautions.
Please observe the following rules and terms of use for your selling activities on BUYMA.
First of all,
Any communications lead to a direct communications or transactions outside of BUYMA platform is strictly prohibited.
(e.g., send or ask emails, personal phone numbers or message apps, letters included in the shipped item etc.)
Prohibited items
The only items that can be listed on BUYMA are "brand new & authentic" items that do not violate the terms and conditions.
There are other prohibited items and items that are not allowed to be listed on BUYMA.
The importation of prohibited/restricted items depends on the country from which the item is being shipped and the region to which it is being shipped.
Please check by yourself.
Item Information for Listings
Please make sure to register correct and easy-to-understand information about the item you wish to list.
Since customers place orders without physically seeing the actual item, please provide as much detail as possible to avoid misunderstandings.
When entering item information for listing, please make sure that the "item name," "brand," "size," "color," and other detailed information are correct and easy to understand.
*If incorrect information is entered, the order will be subject to cancellation. Please note that BUYMA Support Team may withdraw the listing and ask you to correct the information and re-list the item if it is discovered by BUYMA Support Team.
*Since the size description differs from country to country, please edit the item if there are any precautions to avoid size-related problems.
If you know at the time of listing that the item has some scratches or is slightly used because it is a store item, please be sure to inform the customer in advance by message.
Please carefully and properly inspect and take pictures of your items to prove the item condition include the package as much as possible before shipping in order to avoid any complaints after the item is delivered to the customers.
It may also lead complaints from the customers if the received item (color, size, conditions etc) defers greatly from the original pictures of your item on BUYMA item page.
In order to avoid any potential complaints above, please provide additional information via BUYMA message.(e.g., the actual item is a little more reddish, weighs about ○ kg, etc.), or by sending images to the customer.
About Shipping
We ask that you use the "Track & Trace" shipping method.
When shipping to the customer's address, please confirm in advance that tracking is available before shipping.
Please ship your order within 18 days from the order confirmed date.
If you are unable to ship your order within 18 days (within the shipping deadline), please contact BUYMA Member Support after contacting the customer.
If the shipping deadline expires, the order will be automatically canceled and fully refunded to the customer.
Please note that notifying the customer that an item has not yet been shipped, or notifying the customer that an item has been shipped at the start of delivery from the overseas retailer, stores, partners, or any other 3rd party to the personal shopper, is considered "provisional shipment" and is prohibited.
In order to prevent problems, please be sure to inspect the item(s) on the personal shopper's responsibility before shipping.
If you have any concerns or problems with an item, please contact the customer and the retailer, stores, partners, or any other 3rd party immediately to make arrangements for replacement, etc. (If shipping is delayed, please contact BUYMA Member Support regarding the shipping deadline.
*If an item is shipped with initial defects due to insufficient inspection, the item must be replaced or returned at the personal shopper's expense.
*If a transaction is confirmed to have been "shipped directly from the retailer, stores, partners, or any other 3rd party to the customer" without inspection at the personal shopper's responsibility, the personal shopper will not be able to protect the item in the event of a problem (loss, claim, damage etc.).
Please note that the order itself may be canceled.
Others
Please reply to inquiries from customers within at the latest 3 days.
Customers also may have various questions when making inquiries, so please respond as quickly as possible.
If you are unable to respond or reply for any reasons such as vacations, pausing the selling activities, personal reason etc.. (3 days to a week or more), please indicate this in your Personal Shopper Profile.
Once you received the order, contact the customer first (within 3 days of the order).
Please contact the customer as soon as possible to confirm the order details and provide information about the future process.
It makes the customer very unpleasant if their order has not bee processed for days without any communication from you.
Contacting the customer without using BUYMA Message System is prohibited.
Please be sure to correspond with customers within [Message] on BUYMA. Direct phone calls or emails and any other messaging apps or tools outside of BUYMA may lead to problems, and BUYMA will not be able to help in case of any problems.
*Use of the customer's shipping address information (including phone number etc), for purposes other than shipping is prohibited.
Please refrain from calling the phone number registered as the delivery address without the customer's consent.
Cancellation of transactions after an order has has been placed due to unpredictable reasons such as out of stock, unavailable shipping country, the customer won't agree with additional cost etc... should occur as little as possible.
There are times when you unfortunately have to cancel an order because an item is sold out after an order has been placed, or because of a defect after inspection.
On the other hand, your customer has been looking forward to receiving the item then gets unexpected cancellation notice, is very disappointing.
It is inevitable that cancellations occur due to unavoidable circumstances, but try to prevent cancelling the orders as much as possible by regularly checking inventory and updating stock status on 'Items' page.
*Personal Shoppers who have a high incidence of "order cancellations" after receiving an order may be restricted from selling on BUYMA, as "order cancellations" due to the personal shopper's own reasons may cause inconvenience to customers. Please be aware of this in advance.
