To maintain and improve the quality of items listed on BUYMA, we have established our own "BUYMA Quality Guidelines.
Purpose
BUYMA offers a wide range of items, mainly foreign brands, but the quality of the items varies widely, which may sometimes cause problems between sellers and customers due to differences in quality perceptions.
This "BUYMA Quality Guideline" was established to unify BUYMA's quality standards for items for sale in order to avoid such problems and to ensure smooth transactions for both parties.
Note
The "BUYMA Quality Guidelines" and "Quality Case Studies" indicate whether items sold on BUYMA meet the quality standards required by BUYMA, and they also serve as standards for the evaluation of items based on a common understanding of a single item among the three parties (i.e., the BUYMA Office, Customer, and Seller).
In accordance with Article 15.1 of the BUYMA Terms of Use, no order is concluded without the purchase from a retailer and delivery of the items purchased on BUYMA.
These Guidelines and Quality Case Studies are also the quality requirements for "purchased items" under said provision.
Criteria for items bought and sold on BUYMA
- The item must be brand new and unused, not a counterfeit branded item.
- The same functionality and value offered by the brand, manufacturer, or producer of the item must be offered by the seller.
- The item is correctly offered to the customer based on the item information (photos and description) registered by the seller.
- For handmade items with special characteristics, the seller must describe such characteristics in the item description, and the customer must confirm and understand the contents of the description in advance and purchase the item with a common understanding with the seller.
*In the same way, if the item differs from the item information due to specification changes, etc., please confirm the details with the customer in advance.
Cases with quality problems
Cases that are not defective under the initial defect compensation system are introduced in the Quality Case Studies based on the results of past examinations.
Please refer to it as a guide for exhibited items and purchased items.

Cases with no quality problems
Even if an item is perceived by the customer as initially defective or faulty, if the item offers functionality and value based on the "BUYMA Quality Guidelines", it may be treated as a normal item without being judged as initially defective or faulty.
