About Seller Profile Setting: How to choose an attractive profile image

The profile image is displayed everywhere and is the "face" of the seller on BUYMA.

If the default profile image is used, the characteristics and qualities of the seller will not be conveyed. Because you can't see the seller's face online, you should set up a profile to show off your unique characteristics!

When you set up your profile, customers will be able to see your personality, which will make them feel more familiar with you and trust you more, making it easier for them to choose you as a seller.

We have researched and compiled a list of effective images that can be used to draw attention and make a good impression even without showing your actual face.

As we will feature sellers and increase exposure opportunities,  please refer to the following guidelines when setting up your profile image!

Profile Image Guideline 

1) Model (person) Image

Images that can express the seller's lifestyle, fashion style, and personality even without showing his/her own face.

Tips:

　✔ Use props and accessories

 Use small accessories such as hats, bags, jewelry, etc.

　✔ Focus on details

Instead of focusing on the face, zoom in on specific details, such as shoes, hands, or clothing in the back view.

(2) Location images

Location images are effective for iconic places that convey the sellers' lifestyles and brands.

Tips:

　✔ Promote your location

Landmarks, distinctive buildings, scenery, etc. in the country/city

　✔ Photos of familiar or favorite locations

Parks, urban cityscapes, beaches, etc.

(3) Product Close-up images

Close-up images of items that evoke the image of the seller's specialty brand, style, or boutique.

Tips:

　✔ Show the brands and categories of items being purchased

☆ Logo image

Some companies and boutiques may wish to use their own logo. Logo images are acceptable, but since the site is global, please use English.

For exposure on the site, in newsletters, and on SNS, we will ask you to prepare separate images like (1)-(3) or a combination of them.

Please set up an icon image based on  (1)-(3) or a combination of them.

As with any image type, incorporating color and diversity will help to expand the target audience and appeal to a diverse range of customers.
